Round Pernambuco wood stick mounted in silver & ebony; Vuillaume style frog with pearl eyes; three part adjuster; unbranded; excellent condition; weight = 59.5g.

A really stunning bow by Pfetzschner on a model of J.B. Vuillaume (for who he worked circa 1870). Pfretzschner’s work is inspired by all the great makers of the 19th century and he made many fine bows in the style of their work. On this occasion it is clearly a Vuillaume model.
