The Amati Exhibition – 29th/30th March 2015

Don’t miss the exciting new Amati exhibition –  this time based in the wonderful Langham Hotel, Portland Place just near to the BBC studios.

This fourth such exhibition promises to be the best yet with many fine instruments and bows too see both old and new. I will be putting together the Withers historical display too in addition to my own stand, this time with even more space – so please drop by if you are able, enjoy a journey into the past, and see what’s on offer in the present!

It was in October 2013 during the London stringed instrument auction days that Amati.com staged it’s first “dealer’s/makers” exhibition in tandem with its own auction at the well known Lansdowne Club in the Heart of the city. Within such a short walk from all the major sale rooms, this was a very good choice for a venue.

The March 2015 event promises to be even more exciting, given the splendour of the venue and the increased space it allows for the exhibitors and guests. I would like to encourage anyone with a love of (or an interest in) instruments and bows to pay a visit and receive a heartily warm welcome! It’s a truly unique “happening” in the violin world and your trip will surely be worth it – if only to see how even a room full of restorers, dealers and makers can live in harmony…

I will be there all the time from 9am to 6pm both days (Sun 29th March & Mon 30th March) – and will have a good range of instruments and bows to see. Just turn up, or feel free to let me know before hand if you like. Either way, I look forward very much to seeing you there… you can find further information at www.amati.com
